One item checked off on "Timeline to Travel" list....

We have our I800 provisional approval! I did not think this would happen until next week, but after seeing someone else on the chat group with the same receipt date as we had, I placed the first call to the USCIS office. Low and behold, what does she say: "We just issued your approval today". Big, HUGE step completed. This means all of the info on our I800 form to classify Mallorie as our immediate relative looks great, and we are now onto step 2: Second Provisional Approval. This should come in about 2 weeks. Right now, if things keep on track, we are looking at 8 weeks until travel!
